At Atwood Advanced Dentistry, Dr. Atwood and our staff realize that dental implants are the best restorative dentistry treatment option for many of our patients with missing or decayed teeth.
Our goal is to make the cost of dental implants as affordable as possible for all implant candidates, including seniors. That’s why we accept most dental insurance plans and offer flexible payment plan options that accommodate every budget.

What is the cost of dental implants?

There are two major fees associated with dental implants. The surgical portion (placing the implant into the bone) will cost from $1500 to $2500 per tooth. The non-surgical portion (attaching the tooth to the implant) costs between $1000-$2000 per tooth.

For the added convenience of our patients, we offer five different types of dental implants. The cost associated with each type also varies depending upon factors like condition of the underlying bone, other procedures that may be needed (bone shaping, tooth extraction, etc.), type of implant material used, and dental insurance.

Generally speaking, this is what you can typically expect to pay for a dental implant procedure in our office:

All-on-4 dental implants

The All-on-4 is a treatment where four or five dental implants are placed into the bone. Those implants are then used to support a full-arch, palate-less bridge (overdenture). All-on-4 dental implants with an overdenture typically cost between $10,000 to $20,000 per arch for composite or acrylic material. Porcelain All-on-4 implants can cost $25,000 to $30,000 per arch.

All-on-6 dental implants

Patients with a larger arch structure or good bone density are candidates for All-on-6 dental implants. During an All-on-6 procedure, Dr. Atwood places six dental implants-- instead of four or five-- into the bone. Those resulting implants provide better stability for the overdenture. The average cost of All-on-6 dental implants in our office is $10,000 to $20,000 per arch for composite or acrylic material, while porcelain will cost $25,000 to $30,000 per arch.

Full mouth dental implants

Also known as an “implant-supported bridge,” full mouth dental implants are ideal for patients with several missing teeth. This procedure involves the placement of four to eight implants. Each implant acts as an anchor that supports the entire bridge, instead of a natural tooth. The fixed dental bridge restores function by preventing other teeth from moving, while also improving eating and speaking. The average cost of an implant-supported bridge ranges from $5,000 to $16,000.

Single tooth dental implant

Mini dental implants have the same structure as regular implants, but are slightly smaller in form. As a restorative alternative to conventional dental implants, mini implants have two parts: a titanium post with a ball on the end, and a socket with a rubber O-ring that attaches the tooth to the post. As the least expensive dental implant option we offer, our mini implants start at $399 per tooth.
